Hi there, my name is Yngve Svendsen. I have spent around 15 years in the IT industry, initially as a sysadmin, then gradually sliding into management. I am currently Director of release engineering, QA and development labs in the MySQL organization at Oracle. I am also doing a Master’s degree in management studies at the Norwegian Institute of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. Other than that: three kids, a strong interest in modern literature and history, good with a hammer and as a good Norwegian: a lover of anything outdoors.
